This self-righting flotation system maintains a
nearly vertical position even in rough water. Two rigid foam
side floats and an inflatable chest bladder provide buoyancy
sufficient to support two rescuers in addition to the patient.
A 15lb foot ballast bag keeps the foot end down and the head
elevated out of the water. Rapid deployment version utilizes
CO2 inflatable logs in place of rigid floats.
